With a surprise Primitive Green Screen ending!
It really did catch me by surprise! I didn't realize the technology was already in use then.
For whatever reason, a then-contemporary article about the technical aspects of the1975-1976 TV version of The Invisible Man really stuck in my head; it was all about the use of blue screen and the blue costumes — like this — that David McCallum had to wear to achieve some of the "invisible" effects. I'm not sure when blue screen turned to green screen but I suspect modern computers liked green more.
When I was little, I had a huge crush on Barbara Feldon; seeing her now, I have no idea why.
I did, too! Blame it on our youth.
She was entirely of that moment (if, sadly, of not many moments since), and while you don't see it here so much (to be kind), she seemed so bright.
