Yesterday, Peenee discovered his dream wedding dress; today, I now know what I'll wear to serve as his Matron of Honor.[I've always had an odd loathing for this song, and not just because it was so often shouted by a slightly tipsy Robert Goulet on every talk show ever invented. I can't say that Dame Shirley's idiosyncratically phrased rendition is helping me like it all that much more.]
I have to say that I do love this song, but I always picture the luuuuuvvly Franco Nero singing it. Not sure if his voice was dubbed, but purty is purty so I don't let that thought bother me.
I think she just came from the carwash
brushless, of course.
I suspect she borrowed that frock from Dorothy Squires.
I suspect Dorothy Squires nicked it off Shirley's washing line... Jx
That sounds entirely likely!
She was performing on sesame street later in the day -as a puppet......thats the only explanation for that...dress/coat thing.
