as if either of them ever saw a mop or 'drippin pan' ;-) fabulous.
Damn shame musicals tanked so badly in the '70s - can you imagine those two in a '77 Chicago? With enough persuading, maybe they could have gotten Merman to play Mama!
Yeah you can do all that but without a 9 " dick? (shrugging my shoulders).BrianB
Something about this song must suit Ms. Welch's minimal vocal ability. Not only did she sing it with Miss Piggy, but in the movie "A Swinging Summer", she sings a song (Ready to Groove) that's a virtual sound-alike. Also, looking at this I can see where those rumors started about Cher having a rib removed. Wow! She's leeeean! As always Thom, a delightful nugget from the past!
Oddly ironic that she sang it with Miss Piggy, because of the Peggy Lee connection! Once Miss Welch had this song down, she probably insisted on singing it whenever she had the chance, or she'd throw a shivering fit!
I MUST have that dress. (Racquel's of course!) Dat's right, I got those drippin's out of the can! LOVE.
