"He held me tight and ran his hands up and down me, but all he wanted to know about me was where I got my strapless bra!"
I think he's wearing kneepads ... so convenient for so many occasions.
When safety gays graduate?? ;-) From whirling behind Marilyn and Rosie to his own featured number! (BTW - I've had the please of meeting Mr. C. couple of times and he is truly a kind gentleman.)
Living the dream!(And how cool that you've met him! And that he was nice!)
He was great in the "Last of the Summer Wine" episode "Extra ! Extra !". I think he's still as handsome and as sexy as he was decades ago, and I'm mighty, mighty jealous that Poseidon3 got to meet him.
George's memory of working with Stritchy: "When the curtain comes up on the second act of Company, there's a birthday cake on a table with the candles lit. Bobby is upstage facing the audience and Joanne is seated, her back to the audience, looking upstage. One night, just as the curtain was going up, Elaine stage-whispered to me, 'Jesus Christ you look just like Jane Fonda.' Coming from someone else you might take offence. But I loved it. It still makes me laugh."Jx
Jon that is HYSTERICAL and I can hear Chakiris telling it in my head (along with Stritch's voice.) Thanks for sharing that! For anyone who may be interested (and who has the time to work through one of my always loooonnng posts, here is a link to my meeting(s) with George Chakiris (and Lee Meriwether.) If you're patient in reading it, you may get a chuckle out of it:http://neptsdepths.blogspot.com/2011/12/christmas-comes-early-to-underworld.html
