Now we know what Dalida's dancers do on their day off!
The dome works well as a set considering the (majorly) echoed sound recording! Insane offerings this time out. Ha!
Do it, Claudia, indeed.Watching this remarkable spectacle, two things struck me: the first, that I would not be even slightly surprised to learn that this was filmed in Miss Cardinale's own home; and second, that it's somehow rather what the team that made the live-action Saturday morning Hanna-Barbera programs (Pufnstuf, et al) might have done had they turned their attention to adult-oriented Eurodisco specials.Well, that and the lingering feeling that whatever it is that Claudia thinks shes doing here, she's extremely pleased with herself for doing it.
Someday, someone will open one of these clips and say, "Oh my God, that's my Dad!".I hope it's some one who posts here regularly!BrianB
Take the boys from the first clip, mixed with Claudia's outfit from the second and the music from the third... No, never mind, there's no improving the glory that these are!
It appears that she is the center of some sort of cult. And why not?
Three thoughts - her clothes are actually pretty incredible; I want to dance with a Thonet chair on my head; I guess "The Leopard" did not pay the bills.
After viewing this, one wonders how the seemingly surefire collaboration between La Cardinale and Freixenet never came to fruition.
The world simply wasn't ready.
With couture costumes by Jean Louis Scherrer!
This looks like an actual nightclub in Beirut in the 1970s, Hotel St George's perhaps?
