  1. Not one Tiny Toe in that Enchanted Forest was set, I'd bet...

  2. The drummer looks like Karen Carpenter!

I'd like to see a biopic on Tiny Tim starring Russell Brand.

    1. Russell Brand is far too skinny. And that's about all I have to say about him!

    2. I could say more about Brand, but I feel a bit of sick in my mouth... Jx

    3. Yes, let's pretend that MJ never mentioned him. And never will again.

    4. Well, that's ME told!

Over to you two bitches, then.

Who would YOU choose to star in a Tiny Tim biopic?

  3. It has all the elements of a John Waters movie except cleaned up somehow.

    1. I've mentioned it before, but I did get to see Mr. Tim perform at a gay disco in about 1980. 'Twas a sad spectacle I'll never forget...

  5. Trivia: Tiny used Eterna 27, Jergen’s body shampoo, Vaseline Intensive Care (yellow bottle) for upper torso, Vaseline Intensive Care (green bottle) for the lower half. He applied Oil of Olay eight times a day. He never ate meat or cheese, and drank salsa from the bottle. Jx

    1. I also remember his wife Miss Vicki saying that he rarely bathed, choosing instead to continually douse himself with perfume.

    2. No cheese? Forget the lotions, that's truly unnatural.

    3. These comments are not entirely true. He often would discover new products to become obsessed with, not just Olay and Vaseline. And then he would apply frequently. Also, he did eat cheese -- he was especially fond of pizza and eggplant parmesan. As far as the comment above relating to his performance at a gay disco as being a sad spectacle, it may be true from your perspective, but Tiny always loved to perform, would perform anyplace at any time, he loved it, always gave it a show biz try, and never stopped until the day he died.

    4. Oh, I'm sure you are correct, Mr. Barone. To elaborate, by "sad spectacle" I meant that when he wouldn't leave the stage, much of the audience booed and just walked away. Apparently those queens were more interested in dancing and poppers! I, however, watched him to the bitter end. I was probably 19 at the time.

  6. In Pamela Des Barre's autobiography "I'm with the Band", she recounts her meeting with Tiny Tim at a hotel with some other groupies. She said he had to leave the room three or four times to take a shower. Something about nerves and sweating a lot, and also the liberal use of baby powder.
    What a wonderful eccentric.
