Funny how she sings about beautiful gowns, yet they don't show any.
ha! So true
Well, yeah, she didn't hit this one out of the park - but in the second act of The Scopitone David Copperfield, she blew away the reprise where, as the Aged Miss Havisham, she sets herself on fire.Back in the real world: boy, did this one disappoint the die-hard Scopitonies who plunked down their quarter hoping for the usual Joi Lansing cheesecake...
I'm guessing that this one was "for Joi". Or perhaps they were trying to appeal to their miniscule female demographic!
This would have been soooo much better if it had been sung by Danny La Rue! Jx
Didn't this awfulness do double duty in "Hillbillies in a Haunted House"?
Gowns, gowns, beautiful gowns!
I've only ever seen her on "The Beverly Hillbillies" and she was just as polished, corseted and lacquered to the hilt there as well.
