Sheila ALWAYS cheers me up - do you know, she will be celebrating 50 years in the music industry this year, with a brand new album and a show at the Paris Olympia music hall in September 2012? As for the safety gays, apart from this heaven only knows... Jx

  7. Oh Sheila!

She's one of the few performers whose career was actually better during the disco years, especially when Chic got their hands on her after this for the fabulous "Spacer."

(BTW, her pretty son, Ludovic Chancel, wrote a French-only "tell all" a few years ago. The only thing of interest I recall is that he prostituted himself for drugs. And all I could think was, I've been willing to prostitue myself for drugs but no one bought what I was selling.)

    1. After looking at young Ludovic's book cover, all I can say is that I TOTALLY would've gone there. Especially if he shared the drugs!
