An eye-popping performance!
Heehee! And the song was written by Tom Lehrer.
Marty Feldman was a true comic genius, taken away too soon. Without him, there would be no Monty Python; in fact his influence was massive in all British comedy of the late 60s and early 70s, including that of the Two Ronnies, David Frost (That Was The Week That Was), The Goodies and David Jason (later to star in Only Fools and Horses). It is no surprise Mel Brooks head-hunted him for Young Frankenstein. RIP. Jx
He is definitely missed. I remember in the early seventies in the US he had a "summer replacement series", as they were called, which I absolutely loved.
How timely- I'm fiddling with my rosaries right now!
Rosary beads, ben wa balls...potato, potahto...
