  1. Our Little Sparrow was an absolutely wonderful woman! So rough, so talented, so canny, and such a trollop! Jx

  2. That was kind of amazing; like -- yes -- Miss Garland, people forget she was a damned good entertainer. (And now I can hear that our beloved Dalida copied her phrasing much more than I ever realized.)

    1. It was cool to hear her speak in English. And Ed seemed so pleased to have her on the show!

Edith Piaf definitely influenced generations of French female vocalists, even to this very day.

  3. "Miss Piaf will be back a little later in the show where she spin some fine French porcelain plates for all you little kiddies out there!"

    1. Unfortunately, she was later mistaken for Topo Gigio and sent to bed.

  4. Does Ed pat her on the head at the end? Anyway, I LOVE this!
