I want a glittery golden pantsuit!
You would need to remember the giant earrings! They make the outfit POP!
That goes without saying, of course! As do the chandeliers.
Who dosen't want to be the Belle of some fabulous balls..
There is only so much tangerine lurex one can stand... Jx
So Diane's all like, "Together? After the next 15 minutes, over my dead body!"And Mary's all like, "The Hell? I did not sing this backup track. Just wait'll I write that book."And Cindy's all like, "Dammit, this wig is all over the place. Flo's head must've been the size of a pumpkin."But the audience, as one, is all like, "Oh, thank God - Topo Gigio's up next."
Oh, Muscato, you always crack me up!
This is my favourite Supremes song! When I went looking for it a few years ago to post on my blog, I didn't see a version this good so didn't bother to post about it.Thank you!
Mine, too! I was thrilled to find this clip.
I for one, was expecting Miss Effie White, to come barreling through in a gold and orange sequined pant suit with actual chandeliers in her lobes.....stll, it was divine to see Missy Ross and Les Girls!
I know what you mean. I kept waiting for them to burst into a chorus of "Dreamgirls"!
So sad that Mary and Cindy are lip-synching other singers' voices on what would otherwise have been a fabulous farewell number. Bittersweet at best. So fortunate that I have an autographed copy of Ms. Wilson's Dreamgirl. It belonged to my brother, who received it directly from Ms. Wilson's hands. I will cherish it always.
