  1. sigh

I have held a torch for Ann-Margaret for longer than I can remember.

I even stuck with her through "Grumpier Old Men".

    1. Remember her in Magic? That was probably around the time of this little number.

    2. Oh my Yes. Anthony Hopkins used it as dress rehearsal for "Silence of the Lambs".

Absolutley LOVED her in "Streetcar Named Desire". Still, though, she is the kittenish, coltish star of "Bye Bye, Birdie" to me!

    3. I'll never forget her big fall, and amazing recovery...and reconstruction.

    4. That was scary. And amazing!

Have you ever seen "Return of the Soldier"?

Alan Bates, Julie Christie, Glenda Jackson and Ann-Margaret. All four are absolutely brilliant.

And, her character is a mousy little wallflower. AMAZING transformation.

    5. That doesn't sound familiar at all, but what a great cast! Will investigate. Glenda and Alan worked together in Women in Love, of course!

    6. I sort of remember Glenda in that one...mostly I remember Alan and Oliver Reed wrestling in the 'Greek Style'
